Lake Geneva is the proud host of this year’s Amerivespa Scooter Rally. Amerivespa is the Largest Rally in the country that is now in it’s 20th year. The Vespa Club of America along with Lake Geneva’s own Scooter Club the “Scoot Jockeys” and Midwest Acton Cycle are the hosts of this huge scooter festival. There are a bunch of great rides planned along with a Reggae Party, a dinner banquet and some great scooter games. Also a world record attempt for the Longest Scooter Parade.

East Troy Cycling Classic
The East Troy Cycling Classic will turn East Troy’s historic square in to a professional cycling venue. The East Troy race course will take riders around the village square into neighborhoods streets in the half-mile course. The short course will provide constant action for spectators throughout the eight hours on continuous, high energy professional cycling. The event is part of the 11-day Tour of America’s Dairyland, set for June 21 – July 1 in eleven Wisconsin communities.

Railfan Weekend
From a 1907 maintenance trolley that once responded to railway emergencies by parent Milwaukee Electric Railway and Light Company to a meticulously restored double-truck streetcar that once served as a storage shed, the entire collection of the East Troy Electric Railroad will be on display during Railfan Weekend. Visitors will have the opportunity to ride on a number of trolleys and interurban coaches and examine the cars awaiting restoration. This weekend is a must see for train aficionados of all ages.

Vespa Club of America (VCOA) is proud to host the 20th annual Amerivespa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, June 21-24, 2012. “Club” Scoot Jockeys and Midwest Action Cycle are enthusiastic co-hosts for what will be a retro themed rally with great touring throughout the Lake Geneva area and beyond. This year we will be featuring a world’s largest scooter parade attempt. The parade attempt will be sanctioned by the foremost authority in record keeping. Join us in putting the scooter world on notice! Whether you’re riding vintage or modern you’re all invited. We’re going to need a whole lot of scooters!

 

Welcome to the 20th annual Amerivespa! “Club” Scoot Jockeys is our local group of scooter enthusiasts based in Lake Geneva. We at “Club” Scoot Jockeys would like to welcome you with open arms to our cozy little lake town and to help us celebrate this grand event in style! Come scoot the rustic roads, lakeside shores and rolling hills of the beautiful Lake Geneva community. If you like riding, then this rally is for you. We have great rides planned for this year’s rally that include scenic touring and some of Wisconsin’s state designated rustic routes. When you’re not  scootering, enjoy some “old school” hospitality that has been drawing folks that include club members from the Chicago and Milwaukee over the years.
