Vespa Club of America (VCOA) is proud to host the 20th annual Amerivespa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, June 21-24, 2012. “Club” Scoot Jockeys and Midwest Action Cycle are enthusiastic co-hosts for what will be a retro themed rally with great touring throughout the Lake Geneva area and beyond. This year we will be featuring a world’s largest scooter parade attempt. The parade attempt will be sanctioned by the foremost authority in record keeping. Join us in putting the scooter world on notice! Whether you’re riding vintage or modern you’re all invited. We’re going to need a whole lot of scooters!
Welcome to the 20th annual Amerivespa! “Club” Scoot Jockeys is our local group of scooter enthusiasts based in Lake Geneva. We at “Club” Scoot Jockeys would like to welcome you with open arms to our cozy little lake town and to help us celebrate this grand event in style! Come scoot the rustic roads, lakeside shores and rolling hills of the beautiful Lake Geneva community. If you like riding, then this rally is for you. We have great rides planned for this year’s rally that include scenic touring and some of Wisconsin’s state designated rustic routes. When you’re not scootering, enjoy some “old school” hospitality that has been drawing folks that include club members from the Chicago and Milwaukee over the years.
Our riders have banded together because of our mutual appreciation of the excellent routes and roads tailor-made for scootering here. We appreciate every brand and every type of scooter from vintage to modern, Italian to Asian, and everything in between so all scooters and scooterists are welcome. If you love to ride like we do and respect every aspect of scooter culture like we do, then you’re a Scoot Jockey! At the Lake Geneva School of Cooking, we are committed to purchasing meats, fruits and vegetables from producers who are dedicated toward environmentally-friendly farming, and who meet our high quality standards. During warm-weather months, we offer classes that include trips to the Lake Geneva Farmers Market every Thursdays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm to enjoy a bountiful selection of locally-grown fruits and vegetables. We also meet with local farmers regularly throughout the year, to ensure that cooking enthusiasts who attend our classes use only the finest ingredients to create fabulous appetizers, entrées and desserts.
