Geneva Lake Shore Path
The 21-mile
Geneva Lake shore path allows hikers to literally walk through the back
yards of striking century-old mansions. The path was created by the
region’s earliest settlers who dictated that the 20 feet of land
directly up from the shoreline be deemed public domain. Today, their
edict provides walkers with an unprecedented view of some of the most
beautiful homes and landscaping in the Midwest.
Here are some options that will help you discover the Geneva Lake Shore Path during your visit to Lake Geneva and The Mill Creek Hotel.

can traverse the shore path and be picked up by one of our boats at
specific points around the lake like Williams Bay or Fontana. All
walkers requiring pick-up must reserve in advance. Contact Lake Geneva
Cruise Line for the available dates and options! The book, “Discover
Lake Geneva” is a pictorial guide to the past and present of Lake
Geneva’s waterfront mansions. The book is a perfect touring companion
whether you are on one of our boat tours or one of our walking/boat
